Job Summary:

Fusion People is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients' EPOS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Handling: Troubleshoot and repair EPOS systems, including hardware and software issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Installation, Movement, Addition, Change and Removal (IMAC/R): Install, move, add, change, and remove EPOS hardware and software components as directed.
  • Process Tasks: Receive and respond to incident reports, update dispatch function with status, and provide detailed debriefing on all performed activities.
  • Training: Participate in regular hardware and software training sessions, and receive certification after passing relevant tests.

Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: At least 1 year of experience as a Service Technician.
  • Education: Successfully completed education in IT or mechatronic/electronic-related profession.
  • Skills: PC literacy, product knowledge of EPOS systems, basic ITIL skills, and ability to lift and move heavy loads.
  • Personal Qualities: Shift adaptability, on-call rotation, exceptional customer service skills, and ability to work in a team environment.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £134.46 per day (IR35 umbrella).
  • Overtime Rates: £22.41 per hour (Monday to Saturday), £29.88 per hour (Sundays and Bank holidays), £2.00 per hour (standby Monday to Saturday), and £3.00 per hour (standby Sunday).
