About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Technical Director to join our Water & Utilities MEICA team at Arcadis. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and consolidating relationships across Arcadis and our client base, managing the technical delivery and design outputs of complex water sector projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, utilizing latest digital design techniques and ensuring projects meet required technical, legislative, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Support and/or lead design and advisory services relating to new and existing water and wastewater process plants, pumping stations, and ancillary assets.
  • Identify and develop innovative and optimized technical solutions based on client needs and drivers.
  • Establish and grow relationships with clients and partners on project technical, commercial, and progress matters.
  • Line management, mentoring, and performance development responsibility for assigned staff.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other directly related degree.
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status and membership of a professional institution such as IMechE, IET, or CIWEM.
  • Significant experience in technical delivery of process plant systems on complex water industry engineering projects.
  • Experience of working on design and construct projects using digital design.
  • Team leader with collaborative behaviors.
