About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Alton College Nursery. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the well-being and safety of children in our care, adhering to OFSTED and statutory body requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with children and their families, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Plan and deliver engaging play activities, promoting learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, sharing observations and insights with parents and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and legislation.
Requirements
  • Hold a Childcare qualification level 2 or above.
  • Have a good level of education in English and Maths.
  • Have knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Hold Paediatric First Aid certification.
  • Be enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about childcare and development.
