Job Title: Controls Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to design and implement control circuits for special purpose machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical circuit design and experience with Siemens S7 / s7 TIA Portal Programming & Commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design control circuits for special purpose machines
  • Create functions lists for machine control and populate with relevant cross-referencing to control circuits
  • Ensure safety in designs and implementation in-house and on customer sites
  • Interface with in-house subcontract staff and external design resources
  • Support controls requirements for both powertrain and car body technology sides of the business
Requirements:
  • Experience of Siemens S7 / s7 TIA Portal Programming & Commissioning
  • Good working knowledge of electrical circuit design
  • Understanding of AutoCad or E-plan
