About the Role:
Meli White House Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the high standard of drink service in the Bar, ensuring maximum sales and customer satisfaction while adhering to licensing laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure staffing levels are adapted to meet business demands and payroll costs are kept within the agreed budget.
- Complete a weekly rota by Tuesday of every week using the correct template provided in the general shared drive.
- Maintain an adequate stock of food and beverage to cater for business demands and control sales.
- Provide a high liquor gross profit and assist F&B management with menu planning and new cocktails.
- Train bar staff on technical and behavioral issues and be involved in implementing on-going promotional events.
- Ensure all staff understand operational procedures within the Bar, including the Micros system.
- Assist in other outlets in the Hotel if required and be present at all stock takes.
Requirements:
- MICROS knowledge.
- Fluency in English and additional Spanish would be beneficial.
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
