Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Professional to join our team at H9 HR & Professional Services as the Head of Finance. This is a critical role that will play a key part in the company's strategic planning and growth.

About the Role:

  • Lead the Finance Team on all aspects of the business's day-to-day financial operations to ensure financial health, long-term sustainability, and compliance with policies.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and statements to stakeholders, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the company's cash flow and ensure timely payment of debts.
  • Oversee the accounting function to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the wider finance team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Recognised professional accountancy qualification status (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
