We're looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to join our Anglian Water team based in the East Anglian region 

 

Location: Lincolnshire and Norfolk (based in either region or in between)

Contract: Permanent, full time 

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Temporary Works Coordinator, you'll be working within the Anglian Water IOS (Integrated Operational Solutions) team, supporting them in carrying out civil engineering construction projects in the Lincolnshire and Norfolk areas. Joining the compliance team, you will be responsible for coordinating and advising Temporary Works Supervisors on all aspects of Temporary Works on all of the schemes where it is applicable, ensuring the registers are completed as well as delivering training sessions.

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Coordination of Temporary works from the full design preparation and checking processes in accordance with appropriate procedures and kier processes, whilst coordinating between our site teams and designers
  • Manage compliance through the full TW life cycle, from initial approval, implementation, installation, use and dismantling 
  • Auditing the TW process in accordance with the Kier excavation, minimum standard, whilst carrying out site safety audits and reporting of near misses/ hazards 
  • Advise designated and specific project design team members including client organisations on temporary works solutions 
  • Complete and update training as well as assist, mentor and coach other staff with a focus on temporary works 

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Temporary Works Coordinator is great for you if you hold:

  • Current CITB temporary works coordinator qualification
  • Knowledge with and experience of all types of TW installations on minor civils projects to include scaffolding, excavation shoring equipment, hoardings, fencing, concrete thrust blocks, propping, falsework, crane bases, access platforms, access road equipment
  • Full driving licence
