Role: ESG and Sustainability Report Writer / Copywriter

Day rate: (Estimated) £150-£550

Project duration: Ongoing

Location: Remote

Tasks
  • Develop clear, concise, and compelling ESG reports, case studies, and related
    communications materials
  • Ensure all written content aligns with global ESG standards such as ISSB, GRI,
    SASB, TCFD, and IFRS S1/S2
  • Collaborate with consultants and project leads to translate technical ESG data into
    accessible and impactful language
  • Create engaging copy for ESG disclosures, sustainability strategies, and relevant
    communication pieces
  • Work closely with design and project management teams to deliver cohesive and
    high-quality final products
Requirements
  • Must currently be a freelancer with native-level English proficiency in both writing and speaking
  • Proven experience in ESG copywriting, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in
    ESG reports and corporate sustainability communications
  • Strong understanding of ESG disclosure frameworks, including ISSB, GRI, SASB,
    TCFD, and IFRS S1/S2
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce both technical and
    creative content
  • Familiarity with ESG materiality assessments, benchmarking, and stakeholder
    engagement processes
