**The Role**

The Stakeholder Engagement Consultant will work within the Stakeholder Engagement Business Unit, reporting to and working closely with the Stakeholder Engagement Business Unit (BU) Lead.
- Assisting the Stakeholder Engagement BU Lead in building positive working relationships with key stakeholders for various infrastructure projects by supporting engagement with project stakeholders including local authorities, statutory and non-statutory organisations, industry and local community, landowners and affected parties, demonstrating high-level engagement skills in written and oral form.
- Assisting in the drafting of key stakeholder deliveries, including Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Plans, and Statements of Community Involvement.
- Supporting the development and successful implementation of stakeholder engagement plans and communications plans.
- Supporting planning and delivery of workshops, community working groups, meetings, consultation events and focus groups.
- Preparing briefings for stakeholder meetings and produce minutes of meetings ensuring all information is properly recorded on the database.
- Working with client project teams to determine key impacts, how they relate to the relevant communities and what mitigation measures can be implemented to reduce the impacts.
- Ensure feedback of stakeholder responses and requests to project teams, monitoring and analysing feedback from stakeholder engagement, ensuring all contact is logged in the stakeholder engagement database.
- Update and monitor the stakeholder engagement database and ensure regular updates are provided to team members as required.
- Ensure accurate audit trail maintained of all stakeholder engagement.
- Have 1-3 years of experience in stakeholder engagement on infrastructure or regeneration projects.
- have understanding of issues pertaining to project development, potential issues that may impact on local communities, drawing on experience working successfully with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations.
- Experience of supporting preparation and delivery of workshops, roundtable and forum logistics including developing agendas, project plans, minute taking and production of reports.be confident, show initiative, be enthusiastic, with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, having the ability to liaise at all levels
- have familiarity with using various CRM systems and document management tools.
- Have advanced IT skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe.
