An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Security & Emergency Planner **to join the Security and Emergency Arrangements Department in Vulcan. You will support the Security Operations Manager with the administration and planning of Security and EA exercises at Vulcan.

Rolls-Royce has operated and managed the Vulcan Naval Reactor Test Establishment in Caithness Scotland for the last 50 years on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. Although the operational plant ceased operation some years ago their remains a significant and challenging programme of nuclear fuel handling, inspection and management alongside operating a nuclear authorised site.

The Vulcan Programme is currently made up of a portfolio of complex commercial contracts delivering key outputs to our on-site MoD Head of Establishment customer. **What’s you’ll be doing**:
You will be r esponsible for work of a technical and specialist nature using established procedures, including but not exclusively modifying and adapting Vulcan Standing Orders, Site Security Instructions, exercise specific story boards including aims and objectives and any other role related processes in conjunction with the SOM ;
- Detailed planning of the department exercise calendar adapting when and where required, in line with defined objectives within the S&EA department
- Providing training and coaching of Emergency Response Team positions
- The ability to originate and prepare information within the Sec & EA dept using theoretical principles in the execution of duties such as training, learning from experience and presenting to internal and external stakeholders/agencies
- Regular communication and exchange of information with other departments and external bodies
