**The Role**:
**As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out routine personal care/assist with routine examination duties for patients, in support of (and supervised by), a registered nurse/clinician. The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.**:
**The post holder will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward/department environment.**:
**Duties may vary with the type of ward/department and the degree of patient dependency.**:

**What we'll need you to bring**:
- Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment.
- Required to undertake on the job training and induction
- Undertake mandatory HCSW standards
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Working knowledge of basic information technology.

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based in Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit within Stonehouse Hospital.

The working pattern for this role will be Rotational shifts, Day shift 7am - 19.30pm and Night shift 7pm - 7.30am.
