**Essential Criteria**:

- **Minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Senior Healtcare Assistant within the UK & previous experience in the following -**_
- Administration and management of medication
- Delegating tasks and supervising staff
- Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ensuring in-depth handovers are completed and updating the home manager of any changes to residents care needs
- Ensuring documentation including care plans are written in a person-centred way and are maintained and kept up to date

**Duties include**:

- Assisting with personal care including bathing, washing, shaving, oral hygiene and continence requirements
- Ensuring residents physical environment is warm and clean
- Providing the respect, dignity and rights to privacy of residents as far as possible
- Completing general observations and updating patient records
- Maintaining clear communication with all healthcare professionals concerned with patients' care
- Working effectively as a team member and providing a high standard of care and maintaining adequate nutrition
