Fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist to join our Road Logistics team in Nottingham
- ** Your Role **:We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a real passion for helping people and solving problems to join our Customer Service team in Nottingham for a fixed term of 12 months, while one of our team members goes on maternity leave. You’ll be collaborating with other teams to ensure you have all the necessary information and providing a high level of proactive support to our customers, ensuring that all their needs are met and adding real value to their business.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- You’ll advise and consult our customers to ensure requirements are met and build strong and sustainable relationships
- You’ll be responsible for processing bookings and liaising with all relevant stakeholders throughout the shipment to organise a smooth and seamless movement of goods
- You’ll be closely monitoring shipments in order to proactively update customers and problem solve by collaborating with other stakeholders, as well as documenting and investigating any issues that arise
- You’ll assist with processing sales and purchase invoices
- You’ll additionally support the account management team with other operational tasks when needed

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- You consider yourself a people-person with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mind-set
- Previous experience within the logistics industry would be beneficial, but is not a requirement
- You’re confident in using MS Office, especially Excel, on a daily basis
- You’ll bring with you excellent organisational skills and are very detail-oriented
- You’re a great and confident communicator in English (both verbally and in writing) and enjoy working with a diverse group of people on a global scale
