Gatehouse Operative

Cliniwaste Health South Ltd are an exciting new company in the UK’s clinical waste disposal sector with over 60 years combined experience in the industry. Providing specialist services & solutions for the management & disposal of clinical wastes at our three processing plants throughout the country. We are pleased to be recruiting for a Gatehouse operative within our facility at Unit 1, Crossgate Drive, Queens Drive Industrial Estate, Nottingham, NG2 1LW. The role will include but not limited to:

- Control vehicle and visitor access to site to ensure safe and efficient vehicle movements on the front yard
- Record arrival & departure times for all vehicles entering/leaving site
- Induct drivers into site rules.
- Check vehicle arrivals against schedule and report to site management any deliveries not on the agreed schedule
- Check deliveries of waste are consigned to Cliniwaste Nottingham
- Make copies of all incoming waste transfer notes/consignment notes
- Notify shift team leader of delivery arrivals
- Carry out site perimeter security checks
- Any other duties reasonably requested

This is a full-time permanent position, working a 4 on 4 off shift system days and nights with some flexibility required.

A HGV class 2 license is essential as the role will involve yard shunts
