An experienced healthcare practitioner with proven leadership skills who will support the Urology clinical team with a range of duties whilst developing their own advanced clinical assessment skills, including assessment of patients, diagnostic skills and understanding of investigations. They will demonstrate safe, critical decision-making in the clinical decision-making process and will work collaboratively with Consultants and multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedure. When trained, they will work to ensure wherever possible that junior staff are enabled to meet their training and development requirements. Local requirements for advanced clinical practice must be met or worked towards.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience of managing acute surgical emergencies and ambulatory care.
Job share arrangements will be considered.
