**Job description**

Our client who is one of the UK's largest and most progressive timber companies with core activities in sawmilling and pallet manufacture is looking for a dispatch labourer to join their team in Golborne.

Dispatch labourer employee responsibilities
*
- Unloading & loading of vehicles.
- Sorting, preparing, routing and dispatching jobs
- To undertake any other duties as requested by the management.
- Report any missing or damaged products to your supervisor
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
- Clean and maintain warehouse equipment

Work hours and benefits
- This is a full-time position with an average of 40 hours per week.
- Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30
- £10 per hour - paid weekly
- 20 Days annual leave plus bank holidays per annum pro rata
- Overtime paid at time and a half, double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays

Warehouse worker qualifications and skills
- You must comply with site rules and regulations and always work safely. The role involves a high degree of manual handling, lifting, bending and twisting.
- Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following key Skills Good communication skills with the ability to reasonably communicate in English as well as comprehend written instructions.
- The ability to work as part of a team or work on your own initiative as and when required.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, although full training will be given.
- 18 years +

This position is available immediately.

*_Public transport available from Abram, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Bryn, Higher Ince, Hindley, Leigh, Lowton, Platt Bridge, Wigan and Winstanley._
- Easily accessible via personal transport._

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
