Hucknall, United Kingdom Change Grow Live Full time

Overview:
We are seeking Volunteers at Change Grow Live to help support people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be. Key skills are having empathy for the situation of our service users and a non-judgemental approach.

You will be working with Recovery Coordinators and other departments. The roles are nominally based at our Hucknall Hub on Vine Terrace, but there is potential for working at several community venues within south Nottinghamshire as we strive to make our services as accessible to as many people as possible.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision from a specific member of staff, this person and other colleagues on site will assist with day-to-day advice and guidance. In return for the time you give, you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. You’ll be making a real difference too.

Our values are to be compassionate, open and bold. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:
This role is primarily carried out during week days and during office hours. There is no specific minimum or maximum time requirement, your supervisor would expect to know in advance when you intended to devote time to volunteering via prior discussion.

Interview discussions will be held soon after the closing date. Newly recruited volunteers must undertake training before deployment, which may not take place at your ultimate volunteering Hub, it will be within manageable travel distance via public or your own transport. We reimburse out of pocket expenses incurred whilst volunteering.

This is what one of our Recovery Support Volunteers had to say _“I like the team spirit, that we all bring something different and we always put the people who use our service first”._

**Interview Date**:
10/04/2023
