referralsforbothChildren’sSocial CareandthevariousTargetedServices.Itisintegralto Islington’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and some MASH partners are co
- located with the team.

The Children’s Services Contact Team is required to deliver high quality responses to incoming contacts within the requiredtimescales with the aimof achieving 'right servicefirst time’ for children and families. As a Referral Officer, you will be actingas the first point of contact for members of the public and professionals from partner agencies in the CSCT contact and referral process, but also signposting to other services within LBI. You will support CSCT Managers, Social Workers and MASH partner agencyprofessionals in gatheringrelevantinformationfromreferrers,ensuringthisinformationisinputtedaccurately and efficientlyon our electronic systemto allowprompt and effective decisions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

WithinCSCT,youwillhavethesupportofaTeamManager,twoDeputyTeamManagers, and a team of experienced social workers.

**EDUCATIONandEXPERIENCE**

Significantexperienceinanadministrativerole.

Experienceofprovidingdiarymanagementsupportandminutingmeetingstoa good standard

EducatedtoatleastGCSEorequivalentwithPassinEnglishlanguage

**KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSandABILITY**

Displaysanawareness,understandingand commitmenttotheprotectionand safeguarding of children and young people.
