Azure Cyber Security Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cyber Specialist to join a leading and rapidly expanding organisation that is currently going through a large transformation towards Azure
This role will take the lead on the on-going assessment of their Azure security posture, whilst influencing policy and standards development moving forwards. Working & engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure that the risks associated with Azure are understood& mitigated
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure that existing Azure Cloud services and assets are secure & protected from risks
- Understand the organisations policies & standards and implement what's needed & required to ensure cloud services are maintained to said policies & standards
- Engage with stakeholders and the business to ensure requirements are understood and deployed to the Azure environments
- Assist the development teams in order to establish accurate threat modelling for cloud solutions
- Implement threat protection practices in the cloud
- Respond to security incident escalations within the cloud
- Continually assess the security posture of the Azure platform, identifying & remediating vulnerabilities bu using a variety of security tools
- Implement & configure new security controls
- Support the wider Cyber team, mentoring and encouraging a wider adaption and learning of Azure

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Azure specialist to take that next step within their career You'll be the Azure Cyber expert for this company working in a broad role that will give you exposure to a huge range of responsibilities and technologies
You'll have a lot of autonomy, contributing and helping with the development of their Cyber Security strategy moving forwards. We're just looking for someone with a strong background with Azure and Cyber / Information Security
Based mostly remote, you just need to be willing to go to their offices in West Yorkshire for occasional visits (less than once a month) - all expenses paid
