**About The Role**

We're looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and friendly individual to expand our fundraising department. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone with a positive disposition at an exciting time of targeted growth for the organisation. The post holder will help to develop and maintain our reach within the local community, engaging with individuals, community organisations and businesses to build positive relationships. This may include occasional evening or weekend work required for attendance at specific events.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research, identify and develop new fundraising opportunities and areas of potential support, and proactively work in the community to identify and foster new supporters
- Provide our supporters with diverse fundraising opportunities, and maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.
- Working with the Fundraising and Events Manager to ensure all fundraising activity complies with charity legislation and guidelines.
- Supporting the Fundraising and Events manager with larger events as required
- Support a team of fundraising volunteers.
- Working within a team to develop a calendar of social activities which also raise unrestricted funds, such as bake sales, bucket shakes, raffles, school ‘mufti’ days and so on.
- To undertake relevant database and paper-based administration relating to fundraising activities/ campaigns
- Provide reporting on campaign/ activity success
- Publicise fundraising events and activities within the local community and through our social media channels.

**Essential Criteria**:

- High-quality administration and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and engage a wide range of funders and stakeholders.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
- Ability to demonstrate financial intelligence in relation to profit and loss

**Desirable Criteria**:

- MS Office and IT skills
- Proven ability to influence

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.82 per hour
