Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator/Assistant Estimator for a local family owned and operated manufacturing company based on the Pottington Industrial Estate in Barnstaple.

Reporting to the management team the role will include supplying materials and services for ongoing production and new product development, liaising with customers and suppliers alongside general administration duties.

Responsibilities Include:

- Raising RFQs for suppliers
- Processing purchase orders and purchase invoices
- Booking in orders and raising GRNs
- Manning the office and the main phone line
- General administrative support to the management team
- Excellent communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues

Essential Experience Required:

- Experience in Purchasing or a similar administrative role.
- Strong administrative and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage time and prioritise effectively.

Working hours are 36 hours per week, 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-2pm Friday.
