Job Title: Finance Administrator

Location: Barnstaple

Hours: Full-time; 37.5 per week, Monday - Thursday 9.30-15.00, Friday 9.30 -13.00pm (flexible start / finish times can be arranged)

Contract: Initial 3-month contract to cover long term sickness (potential to become more permanent)

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour

Acorn by Synergie is excited to be recruiting a Finance Administrator on an initial 3-month contract for a reputable and innovative manufacturing company in Barnstaple.

**Main Purpose of Job**:

- Work with the finance team to execute streamlined and efficient processes.
- To support Accounts Payable with processing invoices / Statement Reconciliations
- Prepare the fixed asset register.
- Covering purchase and sales ledger as required
- Assist with Annual financial audit.
- Support colleagues with coding queries / Overhead spend queries.
- To attend meetings as required
- Review shipment invoices against purchase orders.
- Supplier statements
- Credit card statements, entries and receipt retrieval.
- Dealing with staff expenses, credit card reconciliation and petty cash entries and chasing for receipts

**Knowledge, skills and experience required**:
Essential
- Knowledge of accounting software packages
- Good understanding of Excel
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Able to effectively communicate between each department.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
- Strong administration skills

Desirable
- AAT Level 2 qualified (or working towards qualification)

- Able to execute all tasks in a professional, timely and manner.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and trustworthy
