**Salary**: £25,000 to £29,000 per annum depending on experience

**Contract**: Permanent, full time or part time

**Location**: Hybrid, including some regional travel

This role reports directly to the Centre Director and involves working closely with an established Trusts and Foundations Officer, both of whom have a strong record in income generation.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team who are delivering a step change in fundraising to achieve new and exciting results for a well-deserving charity based in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Exmoor national park.

We are looking for a pro-active and collaborative self-starter with drive and ambition, to work as a team to help deliver an exciting programme of fundraising activity to support the future of our centre.

**Main duties and key responsibilities**:
Manage and develop a portfolio of relationships with charitable Trusts and Foundations with a view to maximising fundraising income generation from grants.

Research prospective funders using a variety of resources including online databases, websites and the charity’s own records to establish a pipeline of potential approaches.

Responsible for the Trusts and Foundations data in the fundraising CRM including general record keeping, accurate income recording, opportunities management, reporting processes and research profiles.

Responsible for accurate tracking of grant income and forecasting, liaising with the Finance Team to ensure that income reconciles and is correctly allocated.

Responsible for ensuring secured restricted funds are in line with agreed funding objectives and acknowledged.

Ensure that all funders have excellent stewardship and that donations are acknowledged, recorded and reported on in an appropriate and timely manner. Ensuring an audit trail is maintained that tracks all funds raised from initial receipt through to destination.

Meet with Trusts Administrators and Trustees to establish and cultivate existing and new relationships and identify appropriate communications and engagement opportunities including hosting visits onsite.

Research and reading around disability and key issues and themes of the sector. Contextualising this within the wider external environment and disseminating this to relevant staff members.

Provide assistance to other members of the immediate and wider team as required.

To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested to ensure smooth running of the organisation.
