The remit of the VC Collaboration Consultant is to advise, specify, design and price the solutions that Symity sell to their clients. The technical ownership will last for the full project lifecycle. **It will have a specific focus around the Microsoft Teams Room based ecosystem. This role is home-based but you will need to be based from the UK to fulfil meeting customer requirements on-site at times.**

We believe in encouraging a hybrid approach to your workweek as this promotes connection and collaboration between our teams. Work from home and also from our Peterborough, London or Liverpool office.

**Requirements**:

- Engage in business level discussions to help validate the best solution for the customer including presenting high level knowledge on the wider Symity solution suite, specific focus around the Microsoft Teams Room based ecosystem
- To specify, design, and price the video collaboration solutions at Symity to sell to their clients.
- Perform both technical site surveys to qualify and confirm solutions are correct.
- Produce Scope of Works for all quotations or Solution Summaries.
- Technical ownership of all solutions that you design.
- Be client facing and own the sales and opportunity lifecycle for the solution design, including pricing and margin control at the point of sale.
- Produce quotations for Symity opportunities, including Bill of Materials and resource estimates.
- Establish and document initial client brief in line with client standards from facilities management or external contacts:

- Produce detailed design documentation covering the full range of meeting room related IT services including security, cloud services, networking, management, monitoring, audio, video, room control and content sharing.
- Travel as necessary for local site liaison with all appropriate points of contact.
- Produce necessary technical drawings where appropriate.
- Work with internal and external project managers and third-party contractors to integrate solution for upgrades and new-build projects.
- Provide user and administration training on audio visual and video conferencing systems.
- Assist the PM with continual on-site quality control, leading to a successful customer sign off against project acceptance criteria and solution scope of works.
