Space Youtube Channel

We are seeking an experienced YouTube or Digital Content Creator to Executive Produce video content and support the channel management of one of the world’s leading YouTube Space channels.

Tasks
- Develop, oversee, and produce high-quality video content related to space, cosmos, and astronomy
- Oversee the production process from pre-production to post-production, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Collaborate with writers, producers, and other creative staff to ensure that all content aligns with the channel's vision and standards
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all content is technically sound, visually appealing, and meets the channel's editorial standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the space industry, and ensure that content reflects the latest trends and developments
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry experts, contributors, and other stakeholders in the space and astronomy communities
- Ability to research, script, and write compelling stories related to the latest developments in space exploration and astronomy, if required

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., astronomy, physics, aerospace engineering, etc.) or highly demonstrable experience and knowledge of the Space niche and genre
- Proven experience as a digital executive producer or similar role, ideally with a focus on space, cosmos, or astronomy content
- Demonstrable expertise in space, the science of space, and the latest developments in space exploration and astronomy.
- Strong knowledge of the challenges and opportunities involved in space, astronomy, theoretical hypothesis, space exploration and a keen interest in the space industry
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop compelling scripts for a YouTube and digital audience and storylines that accurately convey complex scientific concepts in an engaging format
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with creative teams, and provide clear direction and feedback
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality control and editorial standards
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Experience working with video production tools and software is a plus.

The ability to research, write and create compelling and accurate scientific content is critical. Strong project management and communication skills are essential, as is a meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to quality control and editorial standards.
