They are in search of a Payroll Coordinator, on a full-time, permanent basis to join their welcoming and friendly finance function based in Barnsley.

This a fanstastic opportunity that provides lots of scope for progression and development in the future, and would be ideal for someone who is looking to progress into a managerial position within payroll.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but not exclusive to:

- Responsible for preparing and processing of two payrolls
- Inputting, checking and collation of timesheets from the Time & Attendance system.
- Maintain employee records in Sage Payroll and T&A system, including amending pay rates, tax codes, bank details etc.
- Processing new starters, amendaments and leavers, ensuring leaver information is up to date, including P45s etc.
- Collation and distribution of absences and holiday data
- SSP / SMP / SPP payments
- Administration of monthly pension and benefits including reconciling pension contributions.
- Responsible for Payroll Month end and Year end Reporting/Closing.
- Compiling information to produce and submit P11D’s.
- Prepare reports for weekly KPI management reporting.
- Prepare payroll journals for input to the nominal ledger.
- Resolving payroll queries.
- End-to-end payroll processing experience (Essential)
- Experience of working on relevant payroll software (ideally Sage Payroll, and Excel, the ability to perform VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
