Primary Patient Pathway Assistant & Therapies Administrator (Stanmore and Bolsover Street)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Administration Team in the Prosthetic Rehabilitation Unit and Orthotics Department at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.

This will be a duel role working across both departments. 3 days in PRU and 2 days in Orthotics.

You will be providing administrative support to the consultants and their clinical teams across the department. We need a well organised person to take responsibility for the administrative aspects of the service in this busy department. Duties will include entering patient details onto data systems, creating patient packs, filing, making and booking appointments and liaising with patients and staff, attending MDT meetings, taking minutes, reception cover. Full training and regular supervision will be provided.

The main Prosthetics and Orthotics Department is located on the hospital site at Stanmore. There may be the opportunity to crossover within the RNOH therapies departments.

The administrator will also work within its busy Orthotics department with a friendly team of administrators, clinicians and also a manufacturing facility at Stanmore including workshops. Covering our clinics during staff shortages at our Bolsover site in London.

The post holder will be required to liaise with a clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate the effective and efficient management of waiting lists and appointment booking systems.

Applicants should have good written and spoken English, be able to work productively within a team setting and demonstrate initiative. Sound administration/clerical skills would be desirable.
