This is a great opportunity to work with young people admitted to paediatric wards within the Pennine Care footprint and who present with mental health needs or risks.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children and young people and who can work innovatively across traditional boundaries to ensure young people get the right care, from the right clinician/team, at the right time and in the right place; to improve outcomes and families/carers experience of mental health support.

We are seeking staff with a professional registration (Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy) to work in a multi-disciplinary team offering assessment, support, signposting, and intervention, in this new and developing pathway

We are looking for people with experience of working as a senior clinician in a relevant clinical setting eg CAMHS and having substantial experience of risk assessment and risk management as well as experience of managing complex cases within a mental health or social care service.

The post holder will offer assessment and management within a clear and structured Risk Assessment and Risk Reduction framework. You will refer on to specialist in-patient services as necessary or work alongside services the CYP is open to.

As a member of the multi-disciplinary team the service will intensively support young people and families. Direct work with young people will take place in clinical environments, including paediatric wards and community settings.
