**Goods Inwards/Dispatch Operative**

We are looking for an experienced Goods Inwards/Dispatch Operative to join our team in the delivery of bespoke fasteners and precision components to our customers.

**Is this right for you?**

This is a customer and supplier facing role which involves attention to detail and the ability to follow processes. Knowledge of the fastener sector would be preferred as checking the quality of items for dispatch will also be part of the role. A valid FLT license is essential.

Duties Include:
**Goods in**
- Greeting customers and suppliers entering the premises
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift
- Unloading and inspection of goods including completing goods in paperwork
- Assist with stock checking when required

**Goods out for processing**
- Preparing parts for dispatch to outsourced suppliers for heat treatment and metal processing
- Working with the manufacturing team and admin team to ensure parts are dispatched in line with the production schedule
- Complete booking in paperwork once parts are returned for outsourced processing.

**Despatch**
- Cleaning and preparation of parts ready for despatch
- Packing of orders for loading
- Completion of despatch paperwork
- Inbound and outbound quality control checks

Established in 1981, Pattern Fasteners are a manufacturer of non-standard fasteners and precision components based in Tividale, Oldbury. Our customer base is wide reaching and so no two jobs are the same. We pride ourselves in the quality of parts we produce and our level of customer service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
