Subsea7 are looking for a **Group Environmental Specialist** to join our team at our Westhill, Aberdeen office or Sutton, London on a staff basis.

What will you be doing?
- Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of processes, procedures, work methods and initiatives in support of the Company's overall environmental strategies.
- Advise on external ‘Circular Economy’ and ‘Waste’ best practise.
- Complete a waste ‘deep dive’ - understand our waste data and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with engineering and supply chain management functions to develop environmental initiatives.
- Auditing of environmental management systems.
- Liaising with all regions and worksites to coordinate waste management, collate data and share best practice.
- Prepare for future environmental legislative requirements.
- Support Group Environmental function with Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Support the Group Environmental Director with environmental planning and strategy.
- Work with Projects & Offshore Operations to improve robustness of offshore waste data.
- Assist in response to environmental incidents and risks as required.
- Ensure HSE capitalises from lessons learned and is performed in accordance with best practice, continuing to identify risks and opportunities.

What experience would we like you to have?
- Degree / Academic qualification in an Environment-related discipline, HSEQ, Sustainability, Business / Commercial or Engineering.
- Relevant experience in an Environmental or Sustainability role.
- Experience in Waste Management.
- Think effectively and be able to challenge and work with various layers of the organisation and in a team.
- Creative and result-oriented attitude.
- Strong networking, influencing, communication, presentation and analytical skills.
- Passion for Environment and Sustainability.
- Willingness to travel when required for the job.
