We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Controller to join our team for fibre optic installation works.

The Quality Controller will work closely with fibre optic technicians and project manager & supervisor to ensure quality control procedures are met. The role will involve checking fibre optic test results and photos, also provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Experience of fibre optic installations is preferred but, not essential. A methodical meticulous nature and person with an attention to detail is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow and implement quality control procedures to ensure that fibre optic installation, maintenance, and repair services meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Undertake remote inspections of fibre optic work to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
- Work closely with fibre optic technicians to identify and resolve quality issues as they arise, ensuring corrective actions are taken in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends in fibre optic work quality and make recommendations for improvements to processes or materials.
- Provide daily and weekly feedback to management of quality & test pass and fail installs.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and other departments to ensure that quality control procedures are integrated into all aspects of the project.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in quality control, preferably in a fibre optic installation, maintenance, and repair environment.
- Good knowledge of fibre optic installation, maintenance, and repair processes and procedures, would be preferred.
- Experience with testing equipment and software such as OTDR, OPM, and ILM.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
