You will act as a central point of contact between students, staff and employers. Your main tasks include proactively liaising with employers, generating a good range of suitable placement opportunities for students; full administration of the service involving working with the student records system and MyCareerHub; supporting the development of employability skills in students by preparing, organising, delivering and participating in seminars and workshops, and providing one to one advice.

You will work collaboratively with the Placement Development Advisors to support students whilst on placement and with the Careers Service to offer a joined up approach to student development. You will be required to work across both Talbot and Lansdowne Campuses as the role demands.

You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of interacting with and influencing employers and other stakeholders. A good knowledge of the student lifecycle and of the importance of placements is essential. You will also have significant and relevant administrative experience and possess a good working IT knowledge.

This is a part-time role on 29.6 hours (0.8 FTE) per week.
