Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at a bustling cafe in Chorlton. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious Chai beverages, street food and light snacks, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation standards in the café, including the coffee preparation area
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and addressing any inquiries
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches and pastries
- Manage customer orders efficiently during peak hours
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £7.74-£11.45 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Front of House: 1 year (preferred)
