Depot Manager Salary
£40,000 - £45,000 + onsite parking + 20 days annual inc Bank Holiday + Xmas close

Monday to Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday 7:30 - 2pm
The Elite Consultancy Network have partnered with a leading independent welding supplier, who are currently recruiting for an experienced Depot Manager for their Teesside location which services the North East of the UK. The Depot Manager will drive the day-to-daygrowth of the depot in both Hire and Sales.
The Main Responsibilities:

- Represent and work to our company values, ensuring this message is understood by your team.
- Strive to exceed targets for Hire, Sales, customer service, and depot standards. Ensuring that the depot is performing against all agreed targets/budgets and managing all costs within.
- Ensuring that the depot is consistently presented to a high level to promote a professional image to the customer, including wearing of uniform by all depot employees and that vehicles and hire fleet are presented to customers in accordance with Companystandard
- Be a key driver and serious about safety by leading from the front, ensuring that all aspects of work and process are carried out in-line with Health and Safety guidelines
- Lead by example, coach, motivate and train staff conducting timely job chats, training and development records.
- Overseeing the accuracy and completeness of all paperwork and ensuring that the procedure for contracts, purchase orders, stock transfers, etc. is followed correctly, e.g., all on-hires and all off-hires signed to minimise credit queries, daily vehiclelogs completed by Drivers, etc.
- Prompt completion of relevant reports; weekly figure, cash summaries, credit query reports, stock takes, employee attendance, etc. Ensuring company process is followed to the rule.
- Communicating with the Sales team and assisting in the management of customer accounts on a regular basis. Embrace sales campaigns and generate leads for the sales teams.
- Carry out other tasks and duties as required
- Experience as a Depot Manager in the Hire Industry
- Excellent management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in a managerial position
