Are you an experienced and motivated children's residential support worker? Maybe you lack the experience but have a strong passion and motivation to start your career journey working with vulnerable children & young people, and the desire to make a positive impact in their lives?

Then we at Happyhomes would love to hear from you. We are currently recruiting a new team of caring and passionate individuals for our brand new 2 bed residential children's home in Bradford. We are a small, family run company who aim to make a difference to the children and young people in the care system. Our home will provide 24/7 care for up to two young people facing a variety of challenges and needs, and we are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who are ready to strive to be the best. Prior experience although preferred, is by no means essential as we have a robust induction and training programme in place to equip you with the knowledge, skills and the confidence to thrive in your role, enabling you to provide the highest level of care to the young people in our care. You will be supported at every step of the way.

All new employees will be provided with a comprehensive induction programme and an ongoing training package. You will also be enrolled onto the relevant level 3/4 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care, all paid for by us.

In return, you'll receive a **£200 joining bonus** paid directly into your account as well as **performance-based bonuses. **You will also receive a competitive salary of **£20,000 - £21,500**.

We strongly believe that a happy and fully trained team will always translate into positive outcomes for the children in our care

**Person specification**:

- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
- Awareness of child protection and safeguarding
- A caring and empathetic approach to working with children
- Commitment to undergo mandatory induction and ongoing training
- To be able to work unsociable hours including weekends, sleep & waking nights as required
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
- Full UK driving license preferred but not essential
