Working as part of the HR Operations & Reward team and reporting to the Head of HR, the firm is recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor / Specialist to support the HR Business Partner team with full responsibility for a wide range of ER casework from low to medium-level, as well as supporting the HR Business Partners with complex matters. The role will also require supporting, coaching and raising awareness of partners and managers of people issues in accordance with the firm's values, behavioural code and ER policies.

**We are seeking an experienced ER Specialist to join the Firm on a 6-12 month FTC, on a part-time basis (3 days a week).**

**As Fieldfisher's Employee Relations Advisor, you will be...**
- Leading employee relation procedures (disciplinary, capability, grievance, absence, flexible working etc) that are of low to medium levels of complexity
- Supporting the HR Business Partners and Advisors with complex employee relation procedures in regard to preparation, investigations, interviews, hearings and drafting
- Supporting with handling any early conciliation notifications or employment tribunals, working closely with the Head of HR and designated employment lawyers
- With the HR Business Partners, provide ongoing support and feedback to people managers on ER issues, being proactive to identify potential concerns or issues
- Working closely with the HR Business Partners to identify partner and manager awareness and training needs of ER / people matters
- Acting an advisory capacity to the wider-HR function on ER matters or issues
- Supporting with the development of new ER / people policies or updating existing policies in line with industry or HR best practice and upskilling the people managers of these
- Conducting reporting and analysis on ER matters, engaging with the HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders to review insights on themes and trends

**A bit about you**
- Experience in handling a high volume of employee relation cases of all levels
- Knowledge of investigation, disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management processes
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of England and Wales employment law, policy compliance and best practice
- Be confident discussing and advising on ER / people matters with senior stakeholders
- Capable of working autonomously to deadlines
- Have a proactive nature
- Comfortable with reporting and analysing data
