Tenant Liaison Officer / Customer Care Adviser required for a new role, based in Northumberland with occasional work further south in the region.

The Role

Retrofit simply refers to any improvement work on an existing building to improve its energy efficiency, making them easier to heat, able to retain that heat for longer, and replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy.

You will support specific and detailed tenant communication regarding the delivery of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund to homes via improvement works, improving tenants’ energy efficiency and comfort.

You will ensure the effective delivery of tenant and stakeholder engagement strategies that are in place in accordance with SAP2035 responsibilities so that tenants understand their individual retrofit measures and how to best maximise the benefits arising from these.

You will liaise with an Asset and Property team, Housing team, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and liaison for tenants so that any questions, concerns or issues can be swiftly managed and resolved to tenant satisfaction.

The Person
I am keen to hear from applicants with a working knowledge of effective tenant communication, customer service and negotiation skills to support tenants’ engagement throughout the retrofit programme.

Remuneration
£30,195 per annum
