Shield Services Group (Marine & Insulation) has an exciting opportunity to join the team and support its growing business in the UK & Europe.

**Purpose**

To liaise and support the division’s branch management teams in successful project delivery, ensuring compliance to IMS processes and client requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organise, attend, lead and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensure deadlines are met.
- Determine project changes.
- Provide administrative support as required.
- Undertake project tasks as required.
- Develop project strategies.
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- 3+ years’ experience in a related field.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Knowledge file management, SharePoint, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Good all-round interpersonal skills and people management skills.
- The role is client-facing and involves working at all levels within organisations (Senior Directors, Site Operatives, Major and Sub Contractors).
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Flexible and able to travel in the UK & Europe
- A full Driving Licence is essential for this role.
- Commercially astute, a role requirement will be to negotiate “profitable” contracts in detail and build long-term client relationships.
- Be able to understand all financial aspects of the Contract Management process and be able to produce detailed working programmes and plans of work.
- Monitor contract progress; assist the Managing Director as necessary to ensure both client requirements and company profit targets are met.
