It is important that our community have confidence in the Council’s Planning Service, and in particular in our actions and the steps we take to investigate potential breaches of planning control.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Knowledge of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, wider planning policy / legislation and knowledge of planning enforcement procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with members, professional officers, developers, members of the public and organisations.
- Experience of data collection, analysis and monitoring.
- IT literacy using Microsoft Offices packages.
- Experience of presenting reports to committees, groups or similar.
