**Location**: Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester

teach195. are actively looking for a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistants in Wythenshawe. This position plays a vital role in offering assistance to students with a range of learning needs across different Secondary Schools.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Tailored Learning Support**: Collaborate closely with educators to tailor learning experiences that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students with SEND, ensuring inclusivity in the classroom environment.
- **Assist implementation of IEPS**: Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
- **Empowering Student Confidence**: Work attentively to build trust and rapport with students, providing not just academic support but also emotional encouragement to foster a sense of belonging and confidence in their abilities.
- **Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans **(IEPs) for students with SEND.
- **Provide one-on-one or small group support** to students with specific learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to create and maintain an inclusive learning environment. **Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.**:

- **Monitor and record **student progress, reporting findings to relevant staff.
- **Assist in the preparation **of resources and activities to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Attend training and professional development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with students with SEND in a school setting is highly desirable. **NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.

Pay: £80.00-£90.00 per day
