**The Role & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for quality checking the 1LoD Financial Crime processes. This will cover all key Financial Crime areas such as onboarding, periodic reviews, ongoing screening, transaction monitoring and other keys processes. The checks will cover all relevantpaperwork, calls and system checks
- Reporting to the Financial Crime QA Manager, principal interfaces will be with the 1st Line Financial Crime and Risk teams and Front-Line business teams
- In line with agreed QC activities, assess the performance and adherence against the banks Standards & process requirements within agreed SLA’s
- Liaising with first line financial crime and front-line teams to communicate QC actions and remedial actions required
- Ensure financial crime and front-line teams’ complete remedial actions in a timely fashion to complete QC’s
- Escalate key QC themes to management for root cause analysis and process improvements or enhanced training
- Assist in the production of Weekly/Monthly QC MI

**The Person**
- 2-3 years Financial Crime experience with minimum 1-year Financial Crime QC Experience
- Desirable to hold an appropriate professional qualification (ideally an ICA Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention and/or Anti Money Laundering)
- Excellent attention to detail is key to the role
