Wordpress Web Developer

**The Company**
**This is a Permanent WordPress Developer Position paying £28-32k per annum (depending on experience)
Ideally we're looking for someone happy to work from our office in Ware, Hertford. But we are open to remote working if you are able to attend the office regularly**
**The Role**:
Due to our agency’s growth we are looking for an ambitious WordPress developer to join our team. This role will suit anyone from graduate level up to an experienced senior.
You’ll join a team of three other in-house developers and two designers, along with our client-facing team of directors, project managers and digital marketing professionals. To work with us on delivering best-in-class websites for our clients. We are lookingfor someone who’s forward-thinking, open-minded and loves to solve problems in order to deliver great digital products.
**Day to day responsibilities of the role include**:

- You’ll be working closely with our designers and other developers to build web projects ranging from 'brochure’ websites through to e-commerce and web platforms.
- You’ll engage with other team members and clients to assess the feasibility of projects and estimate the right approach and timeframes.
- Front-end web experience and knowledge (HTML, CSS/SCSS and Javascript)
- Back-end web experience and knowledge (PHP)
- Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce
- Experience with extending existing WooCommerce plugin functionality
- Experience in developing API integrations with 3rd party software ?
- Some knowledge and experience setting up DNS for websites
- Bonus
- A Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of React or VueJS
- Knowledge of Foundation
- Knowledge of Webpack
- Knowledge of building sites modularly
- These points above would be a bonus but can be taught on the job so are not essential.

This role can be based in our main office in Ware, or we are open to remote working and can provide a hot desk in Ware, London or anywhere to suit.
