Exposure Management Lead

Salary Circa £85,000

6 months FTC

This role will be great for someone who like to be accountable for owning and embedding an exposure management strategy across PL lines of business and for being the key point of contact within Personal Lines for all activity relating to exposure management, catastrophe modelling, reinsurance purchase and capital modelling.

A bit about the job:
Reporting to the Head of Home and Lifestyle, Exposure Management Lead will develop market-leading exposure management capability, governance frameworks and exposure optimisation to support delivery of the Personal Lines plans and strategy.

The role holder will be a key leader within the PLU team.

Sustained focus on a strong and effective risk and control environment will be critical, ensuring that this operates effectively alongside an agenda of relentless focus on improving performance and driving innovative and market-leading development of capability.

The role holder will be required to work closely with the CUO teams, other parts of Personal Lines Underwriting, and other teams within UKGI and Group, including Group Reinsurance, Capital Modelling and Exposure Management.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong leadership skills in both thought leadership and leadership of technical teams- Understanding of UK general insurance market- First class exposure management capabilities- Strong business acumen and commercial focus- Ability to think both strategically and operationally
