Recovery Trainee

We are currently looking for a full-time Recovery Trainee based in the EMORSS project.

We are looking for someone who has had personal substance misuse issues and is now in recovery to support service users with their own recovery journey.

As a Recovery Trainee with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be. You'll also work towards your SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care.

**Responsibilities**:
With this role you’ll be working as part of the EMORSS team who are based between the community and HMP Edinburgh.

The team supports offenders with their drug and/or alcohol issues.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

You’ll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.
