Sales Operations Manager

A financial-services company based in Northamptonshire is looking to recruit a **Sales Operations Manager** to join their team.
Location: Northampton
**Salary**: £70,000 per annum + Bonus
Contract: Permanent
**Sales Operations Manager** - The Role:
**Sales Operations Manager** - Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure company Sales Operations processes/procedures are efficient and adhered to, and complete regular reviews to enhance and develop processes and ensure process compliance
- Lead and manage the Sales Administration function, completing quality and accuracy checks as well as allocating workstreams
- Support and assist with the strategic review of operational/administrational process to enhance efficiencies across the Sales and Sales Support functions. This will include collaboration with the Board and Senior Management across the organisation to identifyand implement process improvements that support sales goals and objectives
- Deliver training to Administrational and Sales staff, as and when required, on operational and administrative processes, as well as administration documentation, where appropriate
- Act as the first point of escalation for Operational enquiries, investigating and resolving in a timely manner, and escalating where appropriate and if required
- Managing a small individual caseload, complete administration activities including building and checking client files for accuracy, liaising with third parties, and keeping the client database up-to-date
- Complete appropriate finance and background checks on potential clients, flagging and exploring anomalies
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business
- Report on any regulatory/compliance issues, escalating where necessary
**Sales Operations Manager** - You:
- Previous experience in a Sales Operations Manager/Administration Manager role with experience managing an Administration/Sales Administration team in a fast-paced environment is essential
- Previous experience in a Financial Services or a Professional Services Business would be desirable but not an essential requirement
- Strong people management skills
- Ability to drive performance and efficiency across multiple business areas
- Ability to ensure administration activities are completed in-line with business requirement
- Ability to pro-actively identify issues and inefficiencies, working with Senior Management to investigate and resolve. Follow up with implementing refined process and procedures, where appropriate, in a timely manner to avoid recurrence
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with experience of using databases and CRMs; knowledge of Xero would be beneficial
