Job Role
- Stock Clerk

£11ph with overtime calculated at time and one half after 40 hours

40 hours per week

The have two shifts that need covered - The back shift is the main requirement.

Back shift - 11am-7pm

Day shift 7am-3pm

Full training provided

Primary purpose of the role

)

Inventory control of customers stock in an excise warehouse, ensuring accurate reporting of physical stock through stock counting and reconciliation via host systems Aurora and Calidus-Browser and full transparency of stock movements including returns.

Key Accountabilities
- Accuracy of customer's physical stock against host systems status in terms of numbers and date criteria. Fully compliant with HMRC legislation in terms of warehouse keeper responsibilities.

Key Relationships
- Internal communication with own Managers /Other department managers, warehouse/ Admin /Customer service and Transport/ Other sites

Focus
- Counting and reconciling
- Reporting of stock status
- Checking off all receipts
- Understanding all areas that impact stock loss
- Customer returns
- Date Checks as per audit process
- Understand Ullage Process and have close liaison with Warehouse Team

Decision Making Authority
- Stock count planning, timescales re reporting key data, stock adjustments authorisation as set by manager.
- Using Initiative and know when to escalate potential issues.

Performance Indicators
- Achievement of stock loss budget, achievement of agreed stock count cycle

Analytical with attention to detail.

Experience (indicate depth & breadth)

Previous stock control experience within a warehouse environment required. Previous knowledge of drinks logistics would be beneficial.but not essential

Mobility requirements - Car Licence Preferable due to location of site
