**The Position**

An exciting opening has arisen for a Transport Administrator to join our Transport team at our SARIA Ltd, Doncaster Head Office. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established and growing company, that is committed to helping conservenatural resources and protect the environment.

This is a full time, permanent, position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As a Transport Administrator your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:

- Liaising with drivers on a daily basis and ensuring driver hours are compliant.
- Planning fleet services and MOTs in accordance with the O licence requirements.
- Assisting with effective route planning when required.
- Raising of purchase orders for Transport and Garage functions
- Creation and amendment of transport weighbridge tickets on Navision system
- Daily tracking of trailer fleet
- Inputting service sheets onto the service planner and ensuring an effective filing system for all transport documentation to ensure compliance obligations are met.
- Ensure employed driver cards and vehicle tachographs are downloaded within set guidelines.
- To provide cover for the Weighbridge Operatives during their break or holidays and sickness as and when required.
- To work ‘on call’ during weekends on a rota basis.
- Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Management Team.

**Requirements**:

- Good working knowledge of the transport industry.
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised and efficient.
- Be able to work well individually and within a team.
- IT literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Have good geographical knowledge.
- Willingness to be flexible in approach to work.
