**What you will be doing**

As our yard operative/general assistant in the depot you will be part of a strong and effective team who take pride in their work and delivering the best possible service for our customers.

This genuinely is a role that does not require minimum qualifications, you could be a school or college leaver looking to secure your first full time permanent job. Or you could simply be looking for a change of direction and a steady job working in a busy and fast moving depot environment.

We do expect you to be happy to work in a team and look to go the extra mile when required.

Reliability and good time keeping is key, we have deadlines to meet and working together with the same ethos means we get the job done.

As this is a physical role, you need to be fit and able to carry out the duties of this role.

**A little bit about us**

Our depot is open mon
- fri 0800- 1800, your working week is 42.5 hours and you get one hour for lunches. Saturdays are not normal, although occasional work may be required. Annual leave starts at 22 days plus all bank holidays rising to 25 days with service. We offer a pension scheme and life insurance cover.
