This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Bids and Frameworks to join a dynamic and fast growing company. You will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of high-quality bids and proposals to prospective clients, you will also seek to find new opportunities and work closely with the business development team.

They will be required to liaise with heads of department throughout the business to allocate technical resource to form the relevant bid/offer teams as well as ensuring that the heads of department are given sufficient notice of upcoming resource demands.

The Head of Bids and Frameworks will also be responsible for tracking the progress of bids/offers, reporting on this to the Sales Director and wider business and escalating any issues or risks/opportunities accordingly.

**Key Responsibilities **_**(this is not an exhaustive list of the role requirements)**:_
- Ensuring suitable processes/procedures/job aides are in place to support the bid/offer process.
- Ensuring that the resource demand for upcoming bids/offers is communicated to functional heads of department in sufficient time for them to allocate technical individuals to support.
- Putting in place the necessary training to ensure that those involved in bids/offers, whether it be bid managers or the wider sales team, are following best practice.
- Reviewing the documents being produced to ensure that they are of the right quality.
- Providing regular updates on progress with the portfolio of bids/offers to the Sales Director and escalating issues/opportunities when appropriate.

**Skills/Experience/ Qualifications**:
Essential
- At least 2+ years of offer/bid management experience.
- Experience of submitting tenders to public sector organisations procuring in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
- Experience of working within the Public Sector.
- Self-motivated.
- Organised, high levels of attention to detail and diligent.
- Calm under pressure.
- Able to lead and co-ordinate cross-functional teams.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Have a confident and professional approach to building presentations and delivering to internal and external stakeholders.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Excellent ability to write technical prose in bid/offer responses.
- Enthusiastic approach to work and a positive team player.
- A strong customer focus and a desire for win:win solutions.
- Committed to continuous improvement.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
