**The role**

This is an exciting opportunity to get directly involved with our corporate workforce diversity and inclusion work. You will be leading a programme of workforce related inclusion programmes and projects and managing a small team. You’ll be working with key stake holders including staff network groups, senior leadership, HR and the Borough Equalities and Community Strength team. Strategic thinking and an eye for detail are key to success in this role as you’ll be delivering on a range of projects and writing for a variety of audiences.**About you**

You will have expert knowledge of the field of diversity and inclusion policy, trends and action in all areas particularly, LGBTQ+, disability and race. You will be confident providing support and challenge to current thinking, providing a new way of looking at our challenges to help us achieve our ambitions.

You will be confident managing a range of complex programmes to ensure their successful delivery. You will be able to work autonomously and bringing demonstrable creativity and added value and impact to the work. You should be able to use data, evidence and research to inform activity, decision-making and challenge to the status quo as appropriate.
